PLR (private label resources), what is it? Well, we can get into the nitty gritty of it or get right to the point, why waste time, let's get to it.
In a nutshell, you are purchasing someone else's prewritten information or materials with the understanding that once purchased, they will belong to you. There are several ways to acquire PLR material and I will briefly hit on each one.
By far the easiest way to do this is by joining a PLR membership where each month you will get a set amount of newly written articles which you will be sharing with hundreds other members. The lower the number of members the better but, this usually means the higher the monthly fee.
Not all of these clubs are equal as the quality of the articles will vary. A company called, PLRPro, has our highest recommendation for quantity and quality. Marc and Daniel stand behind their business and if for some reason you are not happy, just let them know.
When signing up with any PLR Membership make sure you know exactly what you will be receiving.
- How many articles per month.
- How many members will be sharing these articles.
- Do you get to choose or vote on which niches (topics) the articles will be about.
- Do they supply keywords to go with the articles.
- How about affiliate programs to make sales with the articles.
- Are there e-books or auto-responder series.
Just remember, the more that's included the more you will pay. The main thing you need is quality written articles at the least.
Another way to purchase PLR articles or even software, are through online companies that have their own writers and programmers.
This method is more for the experienced article marketer that has done the research on their own. They already know what the article topics will be, what keywords they want incorporated into the articles and how they want the articles formatted. Depending on the amount of articles, the word count and the research required will set the cost. Don't settle for the cheapest and make sure you check out other work the writer has done before making any decisions.
There are also companies that will write you completely original articles and offer a rewrite service too. This is probably the most economical way to go. You can use articles you already own and they will rewrite them to your standards. It's a great way to recycle those old articles you've been collecting, but only if you do not want 100% original content.

Great Niche Content - No monthly membership here. Just purchase articles in the niche that you want. I suggest this site for the new article marketer, otherwise you could become overwhelmed with the huge amounts of articles you can receive from some sites.
Info Go Round - This is one of those site you can become overwhelmed at. There is so much here and surprisingly at a reasonable fee.
Easy PLR - I love this site because it so uncomplicated. Everything you need is on one page with all the info displayed. Most articles are only sold to 60 buyers which is very good and the prices are extremely low. This is like a fast food outlet for articles. Well worth looking into.
PLR Content - This site is very impressive and I should give it its own page. At the price they are charging this really is a good deal. Here is a quick list of what you get: 300 articles, 13 AdSense websites with header graphics, limit of 200 members per 300 articles, 3 sales letters, a bonus 28 ebooks and an article rewriting tool. Pretty much everything you need and for only $39.97 per month.
