Well, I'm back with another update. If you want to know where I left off last time just visit this page: Day 1

It turns out the research steps in the BeBiz software are very thorough. This also means it is a great learning tool for those attempting to understand market research in order to find that perfect niche.

The next section I worked in was called, "problem statements". It could also be called long tail keywords as most of us are accustomed to. Remember the synonyms, action and seed words from Day 1? Problem statements are automatically created by connecting all those words and this can create a very large list.

Due to the ingenuity of BeBiz large lists don't take much time to sort through. It has the ability to group and color code your choices. For example: One of my interests was wine and after a quick glance through the problem statements I noticed the word recipe was used fairly often.

So I decided to create a problem statement with the keyword, recipe. Next, just use the search function for the word recipe and tick off the ones you want. BeBiz will then color code all your selections for future use. It is a real simple process and one of the reasons I am enjoying this software, it's highly organized.

Once I finished with collecting the problem statements it was time to see what my pay per click competition was like. This is one of the easiest steps so far as all you need to do is select the keywords you want to check PPC on and click, "Price It", that's all there is to it. Repeat the same sequence for each of your interests and get ready for the next step.

This next step is the time consuming one but very, very important. This is the SEO Competition task and for those that don't know what SEO stands for it's  "Search Engine Optimization,"

What this step will determine is the type of competition you will have on your keywords. BeBiz opens up an internal browser and inserts each keyword on the Google search engine from your list. You do this one keyword at a time and browse the first two pages on Google. There are 3 check boxes: free competition, direct competition and indirect competition. You just visit each site listing and decide what category the site belongs to, BeBiz will keep this organized and give you a top ranked competition number. The higher the number the more competition, so this is a great tool to help in deciding if your chosen niche can be profitable.

Obviously this appears to be a lot of work and along the way I have learned that hard work is the only way to get lasting income off the internet. Sure, it's possible to make a quick buck with the trial and error method but why not put the extra effort in and develop an actual long term paying business. Just look at the professional marketers out there, most have long term businesses they have built over the years. And that's why they are still making money today. They stuck with it and built it.

Never Give Up

    For those that are interested, this is day 1 of my case study on the new BeBiz software from the Internet Marketing Center. In my last post I had decided to make the purchase and get in on the 28 day challenge put on by Derek Gehl from IMC and let you follow along to see if I can actually build a business from scratch and start making some money with this software.

I put down the chunk of change on the first day of the challenge, which is May 5th/08, nothing here to lose but time as there is a 100% refund within thirty days.

After clicking the order button I received an email immediately with my password and login ID. The links to the two bonuses were also included and I have always wanted to get my hands on the world famous, "THE INSIDER SECRETS TO MARKETING YOUR BUSINESS ON THE INTERNET". This $200 book was included so this was a bonus I really appreciated. The second bonus is: "eBOOK PRO 6 BUSINESS EDITION" which also has a hefty price tag of a couple hundred bucks.

Let's get into the nitty gritty now:

I logged into the BeBiz Internet business builder and started my investigation. I found the layout to be user friendly and not too overwhelming, you know how it is when you get that new piece of software and look at it for the first time, it can be quite intimidating. Remember, this is the first time I have ever been inside BeBiz. For those of you that decided to become a BeBiz user, you know what I mean. I also hope you will contribute your thoughts on this case study.

BeBiz is laid out in tabs which are in order for developing your business. Our first one, of course, is to do our market research. The first step in market research is to make a list of interests that appeal to you. A great feature of this software is the fact you can't screw it up because you can always go back and change things.

For my interests I chose internet, cook, wine and theater and purposely made them broad terms. This will get narrowed down as we go though our research. Once the interests are chosen you just tick it off as completed which really helps to keep you organized. And don't forget, there is a video for each step just in case you need it. I found they run anywhere from 3 to 7 minutes but I haven't viewed them all yet.

Next in our research steps we will need to find synonyms for each interest. This is done very simply by using free online software. My personal favorite for this stop was, Google Set , Just type in your interest word and click, very easy. This process took less than 15 minutes for my 4 different interests.

Okay, next on our list are the action words to go with our synonyms. Personally, I am really impressed by the organization of BeBiz and look forward to proceeding. The action words are used with online keyword programs that are integrated right into BeBiz so no need to go out and learn how to use another program.

There are all types of action words to use such as how, repair, create, build and so on. The video suggested using "how" with the synonyms chosen in previous step. So, who am I to argue, I do as I'm told. I put in "wine how" and clicked submit. Several hundred action words came up on the screen such as taste, make, drink and quite a few more. It was suggested to use 5 to 10 action words, otherwise our keyword database will become too large, as I found out in the next step. After completing this step for each of my interests I ticked the completed box and went onto the next step in our market research.

The final step I worked on today was the hunt for seed words. This list can get massive but that's okay, it will help to better target our keywords and phrases. Again, this step is extremely simple too… Just choose each of your 4 interests, separately, click all synonyms and then submit. It doesn't get much easier than that. A huge list will be created, one of mine had over 3000 entries.

Well, that is what happened today and as you can see it was really easy. Anyone that can get on a computer and use the net should be able to handle this. We are all involved in writing articles and that is the main reason I am doing this case study. Wouldn't it be great to keep all the profits form your affiliate sales? You won't need affiliate programs as you will be able to make  your own product with your own sales page and not have to share the profits.

I'm getting a little ahead of my self here but it seems with all the articles we produce there should be more benefit involved. Of course, you don't need to have your own product, you can still be an affiliate representative and build a site with BeBiz software. Your own sales page for an affiliate product will definitely increase your sale.

Anyways, that is day 1 and it took me about two hours, including watching the videos and taking one ten minute break, All in all I think it was time well spent.
